Hi, I’m Chris — and I’ve spent over a decade building a career in events, entertainment and creating unforgettable moments for people from all walks of life.

​

My background is a little unique. I worked as a  Director of events and entertainment for the world’s largest cruise line, where I designed and coordinated large-scale productions, events, and guest experiences for more than 200,000 people every year. It taught me how to work under pressure, connect with different cultures, communicate clearly, and deliver moments that genuinely matter.

When I returned home to Australia, I continued working with some of the country’s leading event and wedding businesses. During that time, I broadened my skills across coordination, celebrant, hosting, and MC work. All of this shaped the way I approach events now — with a mix of creativity, professionalism, and a very human, down-to-earth touch.

Over the years I’ve been part of hundreds of weddings and events, and I found there was something i could bring to this incredible industry: a truly personalised, genuine experience. That’s why I created YOUnique Occasions — a place where every couple is seen, heard, and supported, and where your day feels like you, not a template.
